2011
Raízen is founded on the Joint Venture (JV) between Shell and Cosan. In the same year, we earned the Bonsucro certification.
Strengthening and expansion of The Raízen Foundation.
2012
In that year, we reached the highest investment grades from Fitch, S & P, and Moody's.
Creation of JV Raízen MIME strengthen presence in southern Brazil.
2013
Inauguration of the 1st ethanol pipeline exclusively for ethanol transport.
First issue of Raízen Energia's debentures in the market.
Inauguration of the Porto Nacional terminal.
2014
Historical issue of CRA (agribusiness bonds).
2015
Sugar exporting record.
Inauguration of the 2nd-generation ethanol plant.
Inauguration of the Rondonópolis MT terminal.
2016
Market share of fuels reaches historic mark of 27.4%.
2017
Inauguration of the Marabá PA terminal.
First issue of bonds in the international market.
2018
Purchase of Shell assets in Argentina.
2019
Inauguration of our first solar power plant, in Piracicaba, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
Creation of the Grupo Nós joint venture with Femsa to expand the business in the proximity and convenience segments throughout Brazil.
2020
Inauguration of the São Luís Terminal, in the state of Maranhão, Brazil.
Inauguration of our first biogas plant, in Guariba, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
Launch of our 2030 commitments, in line with 16 of the 17 UN SDGs.
2021
Inauguration of the fuel distribution base in Miritituba, in the state of Pará, Brazil.
Conclusion of the acquisition of Biosev.
Raízen initial public offering on B3 (Brazilian stock exchange).
